Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy is part of our Terms of Service. Read both alongside each other.

The short version

One-time orders under $75: $10 flat rate shipping
One-time orders $75 and over: free standard shipping
Subscription orders: free shipping, always
Delivery: standard 3-7 business days within the lower 48 states
No international shipping (yet)
No P.O. Box delivery

Shipping rates

One-time orders

Under $75 — $10 flat (lower 48 states)
$75 and over — Free (lower 48 states)

Subscription orders

All subscription orders ship free, regardless of order value (Recurring Revival, Premium Revival, and any other subscription tier). Subscription discounts and free shipping are part of the value of subscribing — separate from the one-time purchase shipping rules above.

Outside the lower 48

Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories ship at variable rates based on weight and destination. We'll show the rate at checkout before you confirm your order. We do not currently offer free shipping outside the lower 48, including on subscriptions.

Expedited shipping

We do not currently offer expedited or rush shipping. If you need an order to arrive quickly, email support@snakeoilworks.com and we'll do our best — but we can't guarantee delivery dates.

How long shipping takes

Order processing: orders typically ship within 2-3 business days. We pack orders in batches that depart Monday through Friday.

Transit time: standard delivery within the lower 48 states is typically 3-7 business days after the order ships.

Tracking: once your order ships, we'll email you a tracking link.

Holidays and high-volume periods: processing times may be longer around major holidays. We'll communicate proactively if there are significant delays.

Subscriptions

If you have a subscription, your renewal orders ship on the same cycle they were originally placed. You'll receive an email reminder before each renewal so there are no surprises.

Changes and cancellations:

Changes or cancellations must be made at least 5 days before your next ship date to apply to that shipment
Changes made after the 5-day window apply to the next cycle

Subscription frequency: subscriptions currently ship monthly. We may add other cadences in the future.

What we ship and where

Lower 48 states: standard ground shipping via USPS, UPS, or comparable carriers.

Outside the lower 48 (Alaska, Hawaii, US territories): available at variable rates shown at checkout.

International: we do not currently ship internationally. If you're outside the US and want Snake Oil, email sales@snakeoilworks.com.

Military addresses (APO/FPO): we can ship to APO/FPO addresses. Processing may take additional time. Standard shipping rates apply.

P.O. Boxes: we don't currently ship to P.O. Boxes. Use a street address. If your only option is a P.O. Box, email support@snakeoilworks.com.

When things go wrong

Delayed orders: email support@snakeoilworks.com with your order number.

Lost packages: if tracking shows delivered but you didn't receive it, check with neighbors, around your property, and any building package room. If you still can't find it after 48 hours, email support@snakeoilworks.com — we'll work with the carrier, typically with a replacement or refund.

Damaged packages: email refunds@snakeoilworks.com with your order number and a photo. We'll send a replacement or issue a refund. See our Returns Policy.

Incorrect items: if you received the wrong item, flavor, or quantity, email support@snakeoilworks.com with your order number.

Why these shipping rules

The $10 flat rate covers our actual shipping cost on most one-time orders — we're not making money on shipping. Free shipping over $75 is our way of saying thanks for buying more. Free shipping on subscriptions is built into the subscription price as part of the value of subscribing.
