THE SNAKE OIL AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
Every good medicine show needed someone out front.
We are hiring pitchmen. Sort of. You talk about the stuff you already drink, people buy it with your name on the code, and we pay you for it.
Takes about two minutes. We read every one.
No van. No wagon. No tent required.
You get a link and a code with your name on it. Somebody uses either one, we pay you a cut of what they spend.
That is the entire mechanism. There is no inventory to buy, no minimum to hit, nothing to front. If you are already the person in your group who hands out the sticks on Sunday morning, you have been doing this for free.
Three rungs. You start on the first one.
PEDDLER
15%
Where everyone starts. Link, code, and a reason to finally post about it.
PITCHMAN
20%
Ten orders in ninety days. You have proven people listen to you.
HEADLINER
25%
Twenty-five in ninety days, or we come find you. Top of the bill.
We review promotions monthly. Rates apply to orders placed after you move up.
What that is in dollars.
Commission is a cut of what the customer actually pays for product, after their discount and before shipping and tax. So a Peddler at 15% makes about:
6-PACK ($24)
$3–$6
$3.06 when your code takes 15% off, $3.60 at full price. A Headliner makes up to $6.
12-PACK ($45)
$6–$11
$5.74 with the code, $6.75 full price. Up to $11.25 as a Headliner.
20-PACK ($67)
$9–$17
$8.54 with the code, $10.05 full price. Up to $16.75 as a Headliner.
Subscriptions pay too: the first order of a standard subscription at your rate, Revival memberships a flat $10. Renewals don’t pay, and neither do orders that use a free-sampler code. Your link sets a 90-day cookie; a code typed at checkout beats the cookie. Paid monthly by PayPal, thirty-day hold, $25 minimum. US residents, 18 and over.
What we are not going to tell you.
We are not going to tell you this is passive income. You get paid on the orders you send us, not on every subscription renewal forever after. We are not going to quote you a number you will make, because we do not know and neither does anybody else running one of these.
What we will tell you: the product is good, the margin is real, and we would rather hand it to people who actually drink it than to a coupon site.
We are literally called Snake Oil. We are not going to start lying now.
Four things, and then we leave you alone.
01 SAY THAT YOU EARN FROM IT.
Every post. #ad or #affiliate, first line. In a video, say it and show it. Never buried in the tags.
02 TELL YOUR STORY, NOT A PROMISE.
What it did for your morning is yours to tell. What it will do for somebody else’s is not.
03 DO NOT BID ON OUR NAME.
We handle search. You handle the people who trust you.
04 KEEP YOUR CODE OFF THE COUPON SITES.
That code has your name on it. Keep it that way.
Questions we get.
Is this an affiliate program?
Yes. We call it the Ambassador Program because that is what it feels like, but it works like any affiliate program: a personal link and code, 15 to 25 percent commission on the orders you send, a 90-day cookie, monthly PayPal payouts. Apply above; approval is by hand and usually takes a day or two.
Do I need a following?
No. Some of our best people sell forty dollars a month to the same six friends. That is a real forty dollars.
When do I get paid?
Monthly, by PayPal, once you clear twenty-five dollars. We hold commission thirty days to cover the refund window.
What does my code give the customer?
Fifteen percent off their first order, one-time or subscription. Your share link applies it for them.
Can I do this at events?
Please do. Your code works on a card in someone’s hand just as well as in a caption. We’ll send you a card for your phone, plus a print-ready file if you want paper ones.
What if I run out of things to say?
We send you photos, angles, and the occasional line worth stealing. You are not writing this alone.
Step right up.
Applications are read by a person, usually within a few days. If it is a fit, you get your code, your share link, and a short brief the same day.
