The Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act requires this notice.

Do not consume Snake Oil if you are nursing or pregnant. Consult with your doctor before consuming this or any dietary supplement, especially if you have any medical condition or take any medication.

Buyers assume all responsibility for the use of our products.

Allergies

Consult with your doctor or allergist before consuming dietary supplements. In rare cases, some people may be allergic to certain ingredients.

Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if you experience any allergy symptoms. Never consume a product you know will cause an allergic reaction.

Our products contain (per our ingredient panel):

  • Free-form amino acids (L-glutamine, vegan N-acetyl glucosamine, taurine, others — vegan-sourced)
  • B-complex vitamins
  • Caffeine (100mg per serving) and theobromine
  • Botanical extracts including dihydromyricetin (DHM), milk thistle, others
  • Sucralose (artificial sweetener)
  • Natural flavors and natural colors

Important allergen note: Our N-acetyl glucosamine is vegan-sourced from plant fermentation — NOT from shellfish, as is common in the industry. This makes Snake Oil safer for people with shellfish allergies than competitor products. However, if you have any concerns about specific ingredients, contact us before purchasing.

Storage

Do not consume a product that has been stored improperly. High levels of heat and humidity can degrade amino-acid-containing supplements, so do not store our products in hot, humid, or damp places.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, in a dry place.

Do not consume a product that is past its expiration date. Our supplement products are expected to maintain quality for a period of up to one (1) year from the date manufactured, when stored properly. Each product is marked with its manufacture date or expiration date.

Ingestion

Follow the directions on the label.

  • Only ingest the product itself according to the instructions on the package
  • Mix one stick with water (4-32 oz depending on preference — see our FAQ for details)
  • Do not exceed the recommended serving size unless directed by a healthcare professional

Be aware of any desiccant packs included in bulk packaging (such as a multi-serving tub or pouch). Do not ingest anything that is not the supplement — this includes desiccant packs, oxygen absorbers, or any other packaging materials.

If you accidentally consume anything other than the product itself, seek medical attention.

Use reasonable judgment

When buying and using our products, the consumer should use reason, judgment, and good decision-making.

Snake Oil is a dietary supplement. We support your body's natural recovery from physical and mental fatigue with a formulation built on real ingredients in clinically relevant doses.

What we don't claim:

  • We don't claim Snake Oil cures, treats, or prevents any specific condition (we can't legally make those claims, and we won't)
  • We don't claim Snake Oil is a substitute for medical treatment, professional advice, or healthy habits
  • We don't claim Snake Oil will work the same way for everyone (bodies are different)

What we do claim:

  • We use real ingredients in real doses, manufactured in a cGMP-compliant facility in the USA
  • Our formulation is grounded in published research on the active ingredients we use
  • We stand behind our product with a 30-day return policy (see Returns)
